Please be aware,it is your resposblity (or your agents reposibilty) to inspect all packages for possible damages before signing and accepting them on delivery from the freight company!
Any and all damaged product on delivery must be document with the freight company driver. Driver must document damages on the bill of lading slip. Damaged goods should not be accepted, and should be return only after the proper documentation had been agreed apon by the customer (or their agents) and the freight company driver.And then you must ask for a reciept showing the damaged goods aknowledged by the driver in writing.
Note: if you accept your product without first inspecting it for possible damages, you will then assume all responsibilty for those damaged products you have recieved!
Germano wine cellars will only refund you the customer for damaged products that were clearly marked as damaged on the bill of lading on the date of delivery by freight company truck driver.
Note: if your product was a special order item ("not a stock product item") for example (custom built wine racks)then you can exspectnother eight to ten weeks for production, packaging and re-delivery of the poduct previoulsy ordered!
If your product is a ("stock item") that was damaged for example a (wine cellar cooling system) then you can exspect another 10 to 14 days to return the damaged product, package and re-ship the new replcement product to your address!
Note: Germano wine cellars is not responsible for delays due to Acts of God, (storms, floods, hurricans,or any other natural disasters) Union disputs or striks,that could also cause possible delays in the reciept of your products purchase via our online website!
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
Note: Shipping will be free only when noted as (Free Shipping)
A fixed shipping rate may apply to other product items and will also be noted as (Fixed shipping rate) all other cost of shipping will be as follow's
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
